An old interview featuring 20-year-old Favour Agbro, who allegedly died after being raped by a Delta-based content creator, has resurfaced on social media, showing her speaking about her desire to remain a virgin until marriage.

The interview, conducted in Asaba by content creator Itz Patorchizzy, was reshared on Facebook on Thursday following reports of her death.

In the clip, the interviewer said he initially found it difficult to believe Agbro’s claim that she was still a virgin.

During the interview, Agbro disclosed that she did not have a boyfriend. When asked why she was single, she simply replied that she did not have one.

Responding to questions about her sexual history, she said she had no body count and confirmed that she was still a virgin.

She also revealed that she was approaching her 21st birthday and said she hoped to find a boyfriend who would be willing to abstain from sex until marriage.

According to her, she intended to preserve her virginity until marriage.

The resurfaced interview has sparked emotional reactions on social media, with many users expressing sadness over the contrast between her aspirations and the circumstances surrounding her death.

The video emerged a day after the Delta State Police Command announced the arrest of a content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” over allegations that he raped the young woman.

According to the police, Agbro travelled to Asaba on June 1, 2026, after the suspect allegedly invited her with a promise to train her in content creation.

Investigators alleged that upon her arrival, the suspect took her to a hotel where he allegedly raped and physically assaulted her.

Police said Agbro later returned home distressed and informed her parents about the alleged incident.

The command further stated that she recorded a video recounting her experience and the emotional trauma she suffered.

According to the police, she later died after allegedly ingesting a toxic substance despite efforts to save her.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Yemi Oyeniyi, directed an immediate investigation into the allegations, leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Police said the suspect has made statements during preliminary interrogation and that investigations are ongoing.

The command assured the deceased’s family and the public that a thorough investigation would be conducted and that anyone found culpable would be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
